Significantly lower level of competition (not P5 or even G5... I-AA). I'm assuming he wants to go pro. Best case scenario, the NFL scouts don't downplay whatever success he has due to inferior competition. God forbid he struggles against that level of competition.
Less exposure, though that's not as big of an issue as it used to be.
If he doesn't want to (yeah right) or isn't able to play pro? It's apparently a crappy school. According to some quick research on prepscholar.com, the average SAT there is 930. For comparison, other non-Harvards include Radford (1041), Tech (1285), or UVA (1430).
Test scores aren't everything? Either their alumni don't think highly of the place or they're all broke, neither of which reflect well on the place. Endowment of $60 million. Radford has 55.2, we have 1.34 billion, UVA has 14.5 billion.
All risk, (seemingly) no reward.
